General Posting Guidelines
When posting content for #WhatsOnMyPlate, please consider these tips and ideas.
- Show photos and videos of what’s on YOUR plate and how you incorporate MyPlate throughout the day!
- Use hashtags #WhatsOnMyPlate and #MyPlate.
- Tag MyPlate on social media.
- Share foods that are important in your culture and how MyPlate fits into your food traditions.
- Encourage followers to:
- Post their own examples of #WhatsOnMyPlate and tag us on Facebook, X, Instagram.
- Visit www.myplate.gov/whatsonmyplate for more!
- Spotlight foods that are consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans in your written or visual content.
- Avoid mentioning specific food brands or showing them in visuals.
- Use positive and family-friendly language.
