Have fun experimenting with different fruit and juices in this scrumptious smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana (large)
  • 1 cup fresh peaches or strawberries
  • 1 8-ounce container vanilla yogurt, low-fat
  • 1/2 cup 100% fruit juice

Directions

  1. Wash  hands with soap and water.
  2. Put all ingredients in a blender.
  3. Blend on high until smooth.
  4. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve right away.

Very easy and cheap to make. Try frozen yogurt instead.

I would recommend using an overripe banana (much sweeter), plain yogurt vs vanilla (less sugar) and cut the juice and add extra fruit (more fiber) to make this an even healthier smoothie.

I've made these smoothies by using all the same ingredients except I use frozen yogurt instead of regular yogurt. It taste more like a shake! Delicious!!
