Cottage cheese is the key to this easy veggie dip. Try with different spices to suit your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon onion (chopped very fine)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes

Directions

  1. Lávese las manos con agua y jabón.
  2. Measure cottage cheese and put in bowl or blender.
  3. Beat with a fork or mixer, or in a blender, until cottage cheese is smooth.
  4. Add the other ingredients. Stir together.
  5. Store the dip in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours to let the flavors blend.

Notes

Serve with slices of row vegetables such as carrots, celery, cucumbers, zucchini, broccoli, turnips, cauliflower, or green pepper.

I leave out the salt. To blend I use my emulsifier.

I can't believe how this turned out - you can't even tell it's cottage cheese! I used dill weed instead of parsley. I will definitely make this again!

Yum! This is a quick, easy and healthy alternative to ranch dressing/dip- and I thought it tasted better than most brands of store bought low-fat ranch. <br/> <br/>I didn't have garlic powder, so I chopped a glove of garlic and added that to the blender. Will definitely make this again!
